Go Dutch in The Deep Freeze

.

The human tissue business is such fun that we've had another punt, this time on Cryo-Save, recommended to me by my old friends from Curacao The immediate profit on the issue has gone some way to making amends for their behaviour on that unfortunate trip.

Cryo-Save, now supported, I am proud to say, by Cambridge Renewable Futures (Netherlands Antilles) BV, is a business which collects and stores stem cells for later use. It is a variant on the time-honoured multi-level marketing principle of franchising a simple idea to as many countries as possible before reality sets in, but it has some way to run, in our view, and is a bright light in these depressed markets. Don't forget to sell before Christmas though. ;-)

Stem cell medicine is such a simple idea that even RichardBranson is jumping on the band-wagon, but I'm backing the parsimonious Dutchmen. A guilder may no longer be a guilder, but there's money in those umbilical cords - and what else are you going to do with them?
